Garlic Harvest with Hocus Pocus Farm
Please join us for a morning in the field enjoying an annual rite of summer - the garlic harvest. This crop has been in the ground since Halloween 2018 and looks like our best year for garlic yet. We will talk about how garlic grows, and then pull it, sort it, and set it up to cure. This harvest is one of the biggest tasks of the season, yet it is light work for many hands. Hocus Pocus Farm is in its first season on this particular field in Seekonk, and we are so excited to welcome our farm community new and old to see what we've been up to during this time of change. The event is great for kids, and attendees can take some home with them! Afterwards, you can stop by the Pick Your Own blueberries and sunflowers, and spend a whole day at the farm with us.
